Dr. Michael Blair is a board-certified, award-winning physician and eye surgeon. Having performed over 20,000 eye surgeries, his extensive training and skills have enabled him to provide the highest quality in eye surgery and care.

In 2006, Dr. Blair graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine, where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. In that same year, he was accepted into one of the top eye surgery programs in the nation, Wilford Hall Medical Center. While in the program he excelled and was awarded several prestigious awards for his surgical abilities and research. In 2009 he was named chief resident and graduated with the highest credentials in 2010.

After his residency, Dr. Blair continued his service in the 99th Surgical Operations Squadron at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas and was entrusted with the vision of our country’s finest pilots and Warfighters. As a Major, he was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal for meritorious service in 2013 for surgical excellence. During this period, his leadership, expertise, and tireless efforts were instrumental to the success of Air Combat Command’s most productive ophthalmology clinic supporting over 72,000 active duty members and retirees.

He continues to lecture all over the country, teaching other surgeons his approach to the most advanced cataract surgery techniques available in the United States.
